Glacier High Student Perspectives
A Glacier High School student's perspective looking in on the program
I was working in my new "home office" at City Brew today, and this young lady came in and sat at a table beside me. Pretty soon, a woman joined her, and they began talking about her upcoming senior photo shoot. Throughout the conversation, the young lady shared that she participates in both volleyball and track at Glacier. After they finished getting to know each other a little bit, the photographer asked her what her favorite program was at Glacier High School. Without hesitation, the girl said, "the football program!" The photographer clarified, "You mean the girls' flag football program?" The girl corrected her and said, "No, the football program!" This made the photographer very curious, especially since the girl wasn't associated with the program in any way, so she asked her why it was her favorite program. The young girl replied, "Because they have the best culture, and yes, they have a lot of success, but they have these meetings every morning where they talk to the boys about being good men, and the team is like one giant family."
